Ben Rollinson was a one year letter winner for the Cherry Creek Bruins. In this one season, Ben became the foundation of our defensive corp. Both on the ice and off the ice he is a leader in the true sense of the word. The players look up to Ben to the extent that they call him Daddy. Ben is one of the hardest working athletes in our program. He leads by example. He is mature beyond his age. Due to a late season injury, Ben was unable to play in our semi-final playoff game. Ben dressed for the game, but did not play. Rather he remained on the bench as a cheerleader for the boys.

Ben’s character exemplifies this Hobey Baker Award. He is a person of outstanding character and integrity. He has applied for and is currently awaiting acceptance into one of the United States Military Academies.
