Bailey represents everything that it means to be a hockey player both on and off the ice.  He is always the first one on the ice and the last one to leave.  Putting in the time during the off season to get better as hockey player.  He excels on the ice as you can see from statistics from players around the state.  Bailey is the type of player that coaches want to coach.  Bailey listens with 150% focus on what the coach is asking and will do what is asked of him time and  time again.  He represents everything that it means to character because he has stuck with his sports of football and hockey during the rough times in his earlier years.  He is willing to put in the effort to make the players around him better and to take his team on his back and take them to new heights.  I believe that Bailey Sommers deserves this award more than anyone I know.  He takes every lose to heart and doesn’t expect anything else when we win. Herb Brooks the coaching legend would have been proud to have Bailey as a player because of his work ethic, heart, determination and passion for the game of hockey.
