Asa exemplifies what character looks like. He is a very good example of our team on and off the ice. We have been through some very tough times, almost not having a team and he has stuck through for everything. He is committed and be present at everything asked of him both during the season and outside of the season. He is not necessarily one to be the vocal leader but rather leads by example and never gets distracted from playing a team game. He is one who will always put the team before himself. The best explanation of his game or his life is hard work. He does not have all the tools other players have but this has never stopped him. No matter playing shinny hockey, or a drill in practice he is always giving it his all and making himself and those around him better. I am proud to be his coach.
