Anthony exemplifies everything that is paramount to being a member of a high school hockey team. A four year varsity player and a three year captain of the Falcons, he has always put the team first, setting an example of leadership through his tremendous work ethic and commitment to upholding high standards both on the ice and in the classroom. Furthermore, he is always conducts himself with class, ensuring that he represents his family, school, and team with the highest level of respect at all times.

The Hobey Baker Memorial Award exists to recognize the players who quietly demonstrate good sportsmanship and consistently strong character in all areas of life; Anthony Scala is the modern representation of these ideals and is extremely deserving of this award.
