AJ has been on the High School team that has endured a difficult path including being the starting goalie during an 0-19 record. As AJ entered his senior year, he was determined to change the fortune of the team by showing leadership and a commitment to help the team believe in themselves. He was a great role model for the entire team and was designated as one of our assistant captains validating how his team viewed AJ. AJ was determined to be part of the foundation for rebuilding the program and being a positive influence on changing the overall team culture.

Off the ice AJ was always the first player interested and volunteering to support the Pueblo community through his work with a Thanksgiving Food Drive along with our Stick it to Cancer game that raised over $10,000 for the Relay for Life Cancer organizations.

It was a pleasure getting a chance to coach AJ and I have total confidence he will succeed in his studies at CSU Fort Collins and will go on to be a productive, successful and supportive member of society.
