Annika is a person of high character and integrity. Annika is a 3-year letter winner of our program, and this year she also is leading our team as one of our two captains. Annika is soft-spoken, but when she talks, people listen. She leads by example, competes hard, and wants the best for her teammates. Outside of hockey, Annika competes in soccer where she is a captain, Cross Country, and Track and Field. Annika has a 4.0 GPA and participates in many school choirs at Grand Forks Central.
Annika also volunteers for our community. She has helped with youth hockey camps, made blankets for those in need, raised funds for our Stick it to Cancer Game, and volunteers on her youth worship team, where they perform on Wednesday nights at Church.
Overall, Annika is an outstanding individual, and deserves this award!
