 After reading the criteria for the Hobey Baker Award, Andrew was the first person that I thought of. Andrew plays the game with a positive attitude and is always trying to better his team through direction or leadership on and off the ice.Andrew is a very coachable young man who is always willing to try whatever the coaching staff has up there sleeves.Andrew plays with tenacity and heart on ever shift of every game,Andrew also is the first person to shake the referees hands after the game , to let them know they have done a good job.Andrew is involved in the community on a weekly bases,he is a certified referee himself, who enjoys passing on the rules and regulations of this fine game we call hockey to the younger versions of himself.I could see someday Andrew sitting down at a computer and writing this same type of letter for a young man in his same postion.I wish Andrew nothing but the best.
