Amelia is the most unselfish and coachable player on her team. She has always been a leader on our team and for the past two years as a captain.  She commands respect from not only the coaches, but her fellow players.  She has led off-ice training programs for the girls over the past 2 years.  She organizes off-ice activities.  She leads by example and through motivation in the locker room.  Bottom line:  her teammates listen to her, respect her, and model after her. Aside from her relentless hard work on and off the ice, Amelia has dedicated her time in and outside the classroom.  Amelia has never once complained to her coaches of anything they have asked her to do. Amelia is very deserving the Hobey Baker Character Award.
