This athlete was selected because of her academic achievements, her athletic acheivements for the three years she played varsity hockey. Alexis was also selected because her character embodies everything a coach is looking for in a player. Her work ethic is paramount to none along with her understanding how to play the game of hockey. Plus she is a two sport athlete and captain of not only the hockey team but the Field Hockey team.
