Alex has proven himself to be a leader the last two years. He was team captain last year. He leads by example in every practice and every game. Win/loss he always promotes team values. Because of his continued work ethic and positive attitude we again gave him the C’s. He was injured at the beginning of this year, his senior year, and attended every practice for two months and watched from the bench still promoting the hard work attitude. He played in his first two games of the season Feb 1st and 2nd and as a defenseman made about as many saves as the goaltenders by sacrificing his body blocking shots. Well deserved.
