Alex is a three sport captain who has always valued his teammates. He is considered by many to be one of the top goaltenders in the State and certainly felt pressure to leave to either junior hockey or to another program with more prestige. The love of his community and teammates was never more apparent. There were many games where he would be the huge factor as to why we won or were even in the game but he never asked for that type of acknowledgement and matter of fact was quick to deflect.
