Alex has turned into a leader as a senior. He has demonstrated that personal goals are not more important than the team success. He has done everything that has been asked of him, including fine tuning how he plays each shift. Alex plays an aggressive style in combination with speed and skill. He has scored some big goals for us over his four years with the program and his excellent shot. However, we have nominated him for this award based on the maturity he has shown this season. Alex had proven to truly care more about the name on the front of his jersey verses the one on the back. He has become a local leader as well and has demonstrated all traits and characteristics of what this award stand for.
