Alek is 4 year varsity hockey member, 3 sport varsity athlete and a 4.0 student on a 4.0 scale. He is a recipient of the S.T.A.R.R. scholarship(all expenses paid) to Michigan State University. He served as the team captain during his senior year. Alek has been a fantastic mentor to the younger players on the team both on and off the ice. Outside of the classroom and ice rink, Alek is involved community projects and youth sports.
