I have coached Aidan Finnerty over the past three years, and I have been thoroughly impressed with every aspect of his character. Aidan is a tremendous athlete. He is a hockey player, who leads by example. His dedication to his teammates is inspiring, and his willingness to help his teammates is like no player I have coached before. Aidan also has tremendous character and brings a wonderful sense of humor to the school community. Aidan is always willing to help.
As a hockey player, Aidan is a team leader and one of the hardest workers on the ice. He is a wonderful role model for younger players and has taken on a leadership role
In life and hockey, Aidan has faced obstacles, setbacks, and injuries but returns every day to overcome them. He is one of my contacts with the other players on the team and is always willing to do whatever is necessary for the team (not just himself) to be successful. He is an unselfish and inspiring player.
As Aidan graduates, he leaves incredibly large shoes to fill. I know that wherever he goes, he will have a positive impact. He will bring the same enthusiasm and dedication to any institution he is a part of. He will continue to develop as a student displaying the same perseverance and intellectual curiosity as he has devoted himself to over the past three years.
