I have selected Addison Brown as the Hobey Baker Award recipient for our team. Addison has the drive and passion for the sport of hockey and exemplifies what it means to be a team player and leader both on and off the ice. Not only is she our point leader for the team for the last two years, she is also an honor student and works on her family’s farm. Every day, she drives an hour and a half, one way, to each and every practice, game, team event, team meal, and team study hall. As captain, Addison connects well with her teammates and leads the team with pride and passion. She is the epitome of what a Hobey Baker Award recipient should be.
