It is my absolute pleasure to nominate Aaron Amick for the Hobey Baker Award. He is not only a talented athlete, but an exceptional young man. He is honest, dependable, and hard-working. He is fair, likable, and respected by his peers. As a head coach I endeavor to use the game to teach and develop life skills such as responsibility, respect, accountability, teamwork, and sportsmanship. In all my years of coaching, few young men compare to Aaron. and for these reasons he represents the Leo Lions HS Hockey Team as Captain. Aaron is also involved in the community off the ice as he competes nationally in 4H, FFA, Livestock judging and showing.
