2026 COMMITTEE CHAIR

As a lifelong hockey player and fan, it has been a privilege for Bryan to serve on the Hobey Baker Committee. Bryan first experienced the Hobey Baker Award in 1993 when his father brought him to the banquet at the Decathlon Club in Bloomington, MN, where Paul Kariya was honored as the first freshman to win the award. That moment left a lasting impression and ultimately led to Bryan’s deep involvement with the organization.
Bryan has served on the Hobey Baker Committee since 2017, contributing in roles as Secretary, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of both the Hobey Baker Golf Tournament and the annual banquet. He has also been active in social media and publicity, working to expand the reach and recognition of the award. Bryan is honored to serve as Chairman of the Committee for 2025-2026.
A Minnesota native, Bryan’s hockey career includes competing in two Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournaments for Orono High School, playing junior hockey in the NAHL for the Springfield Jr. Blues and in the USHL for the Green Bay Gamblers, before moving on to college hockey at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.
Off the ice, Bryan works as a financial advisor for ultra-high-net-worth families at Wells Fargo in Minneapolis. He and his wife Elizabeth live in Minnetonka, where they are raising a busy and active family: Colten (19), Isabella (16), Brooklynn (13), Olivia (9), Grace (9), and Jack (2).
