Kellen is a 3 year letter winner with us and has one of the best attitudes we’ve been around. Kellen is a leader on/off the ice and has a smile that lightens up the room. I’m not sure that Kellen has a negative bone in his body. When we have team meetings and Kellen gives his opinion the locker room listens. The prime
example came this season during a game. While the play was going on a player from the other team lost his steel in one of his skates across the ice from his bench. The play went up ice and Kellen was going up ice where the opposing player was. Kellen pushed the
player up ice while the play was going towards the
oppositions bench to help the player out. Tell me that’s not character! I’m not sure I would have done it, but Kellen did it. Total class move!! Kellen is the perfect person for this award!
