Lauren is a three year varsity player and one of the captains on the Marauders this season. With 10 new varsity players which 9 played youth hockey the previous year Lauren become the person players feel comfortable going to. Her nickname by teammates was mother hen. She does the little thing on the ice that you don’t see on the score sheet. Back-checking with purpose, playing the body and blocking shots just to name a few. She always puts the team before her and that is why she is the Hobey Baker Award winner for the Marauders.
