Cianna started skating only 4 years ago because our hockey team needed a second goalie. She was a field hockey goalie and captain of her team. Cianna worked very hard and has proven to be the kind of player you want on your team. Someone who shows up and gives everything she has to her team striving to be the best player she can be. She has good leadership skills and can communicate effectively in a positive manner with her teammates and coaches. She gets along with all the other players who look up to her. Cianna is an honor student and a member of the National Honor Society. She donates her time to the instructional youth hockey program in the town and to the Circle of Hope organization. She sets a positive example for her teammates and exemplifies the values of the Hobey Baker Character Award. Cianna Indeck is most deserving of this prestigious award.
