Kennedy is a three-year letter winner and has earned the role of Team Captain for the 2025–2026 season. Her leadership style is exceptional rooted in communication, positive reinforcement, and a genuine willingness to serve her teammates. Kennedy leads not by title, but by consistent example. She never asks anyone to do something she isn’t willing to do herself. Whether it’s picking up pucks after practice or grabbing nets, she approaches every task with humility and purpose. Her teammates and coaches unanimously recognize her as a steady, caring, and inclusive presence who brings out the best in others.
Kennedy is deeply invested in her hockey community. She is active with Elk River Youth Hockey, where she volunteers with the Little Elks program, introducing young boys and girls to the sport. She has also served as a Big Sister and role model for younger girls in the program, something she approaches with pride, responsibility, and a natural mentorship ability.
Her commitment to community extends beyond hockey. Kennedy volunteers throughout the City of Elk River, participating in activities such as park cleanups, trail maintenance, and yard work for residents who are no longer able to do so themselves. She gives her time freely, never seeking recognition, and consistently demonstrates compassion and integrity.
Academically, Kennedy maintains a 3.4 GPA while excelling as a multi-sport athlete in Varsity Tennis and Golf. Her balance of athletics, academics, work, and community service reflects maturity and discipline well beyond her years.
Kennedy is compassionate, hardworking, selfless, and driven. She represents the very best of high school athletics
