Anne Leydon is a four-year starter and two-time captain of the SWS team who exemplifies the ideals embodied by Hobey Baker. She fully embraces the values of coachability, strength of character, integrity, commitment, teamwork, community building, and outstanding sportsmanship. From her first days as a freshman, Anne was laser-focused on learning the intricacies of the game, with her attention consistently directed toward coaching and instruction.

Anne has served as a role model for teammates across the spectrum—both highly skilled players and those just beginning their hockey journeys. It is this genuine commitment to inclusivity that distinguishes her leadership. Throughout her time with SWS, Anne has led and supported community initiatives focused on raising awareness and funds for cancer research and mental health, including suicide prevention. She approaches this work with humility, selflessness, and a true team-first mindset.

Anne embodies the very best of student-athletes through her unwavering commitment, respect for others, perseverance, and exemplary sportsmanship.
