Lucy was selected because she has been the backbone of our team for the past 4 years. Being the only goalie for 3 years, Lucy has defined commitment. Lucy has been there for the team no matter what the circumstance, She is passionate and a natural leader both on and off the ice. Lucy has made a name for herself over these past 4 years and is well known and well respected in our state. She exemplifies all of the characteristics that the Hobey Baker Award attributes such as excellence, character, sportsmanship and most importantly, a love for the game.
