Lexy Patel embodies every quality that you would want in a student-athlete. Her team first mentality has allowed her to become a top contributor to the team throughout her four years as well as an excellent role model to the underclassmen. When thinking of words to describe Lexy’s character, the words dedicated, loyal and resilient come to mind. Lexy’s curiosity and desire to keep learning have allowed her to thrive each season. She has never given up, despite any set back and with this attitude and her love for the game, she has given her all out effort in every practice and game. It is evident that Lexy has grown as an athlete, but also as an individual as her leadership skills have flourished and matured throughout her four years. Lexy’s calm nature has allowed her to become someone her teammates can go to for support and guidance, in addition to being their biggest cheerleaders on and off the ice. Lexy has been everything a coach can want on their team, through her outstanding character, ability, commitment, and coachability.
