Wyatt has always had a true “team first” mentality. He consistently goes the extra mile—asking what needs to be done, making sure we have everything we need, and always being one of the first upperclassmen to offer a hand carrying equipment to and from the bus. He frequently stays later to help pick up, ensure everything is organized, and often plays a big role in keeping team morale up.
Wyatt is also one of the first players on the ice and one of the last to leave, consistently putting in extra time to work on his skills and asking the coaching staff about what he can improve. Despite battling injuries over the past couple of seasons, he has remained calm, focused, and committed, doing whatever was necessary to earn and solidify his spot in the lineup.
Since then, Wyatt has been a steady and dependable presence on the blue line all season, often matched up against opposing teams’ top forwards. Wyatt is the type of teammate any coach would want—someone who leads by example and consistently demonstrates what true character looks like.
