Bella started with us as a Junior Varsity player her 9th grade year. She wasn’t one of those top players that made varsity coming into high school – she was just a player that wanted to compete. As she progressed through high school hockey, she consistently was the hardest worker on our team. Each year, after the off-season, she would come back faster and stronger. This year, she was elected by her teammates as a captain and she is a phenomenal leader. She connects with each of her teammates while maintaining a high-level of intensity in both practices and games. I am so proud to nominate Bella for the Hobey Baker award. She has great character and will go on to do amazing things.
