I have had the privilege of coaching Cash for about four years, and throughout my time working with him, he has consistently demonstrated determination, leadership, and a strong commitment to both his team and his personal development. Cash approaches every practice and game with a high level of accountability and work ethic, setting a standard that teammates naturally follow.
Cash is a player who truly wears his heart on his sleeve. He competes with passion, embraces challenges, and has shown the ability to perform under pressure when his team needs him most. Whether in critical game situations or during demanding practices, Cash remains focused, resilient, and composed. His leadership is evident not only in his play, but in how he encourages teammates, accepts coaching, and responds positively to adversity. He understands how to read a room.
Beyond his on-ice contributions, Cash has volunteered helping out with our 8U practices and some local tournaments. He represents the values of Montana Hockey with integrity, character, and respect. He is the type of student-athlete who understands that success is built through consistency, effort, and a willingness to lead by example. I strongly believe Cash is deserving of this award and will continue to represent with pride both on and off the ice.
