Logan’s father passed away unexpectedly last summer. His father was a former collegiate hockey player and the two of them had a very special and strong bond revolving around the game of hockey. Logan remained strong and courageous in the aftermath his passing. Logan was selected as a captain prior to this summer but the amount of growth in leadership that we witnessed for Logan was exemplary. Not only did his leadership skills really show through but his work ethic off the ice during the summer/fall was tremendous. Once the season started, he switched his number to honor his father’s legacy. Logan’s dedication and commitment paid off as he became the first Irondale hockey player to score over 50 points in a single season in close to 20 years.
