For the West Warwick/Exeter-West Greenwich Knight-Wizards, there is no better recipient for this year’s Hobey Baker Award than Senior Defenseman Nicholas Pinault. Throughout his four years on Varsity he has exemplified the characteristics necessary to earn this prestigious honor, both on and off the ice. By continuously leading by example both in the classroom and at the hockey rink he is a model student-athlete for future team members to look up to. His dedication to his academics is showcased by consistently attaining High Honors and taking AP level classes en route to an exciting collegiate opportunity. Within the organization, he continues to put forth maximum effort and attention to earn his role on the team. He treats every player, coach, and person with the utmost respect and worked his way into being a key member of the Knight-Wizard defensive core. He embodies Hobey Baker’s character and integrity which will lead him far as he continues beyond his playing days here.
