As a goaltender, Mason is the backbone of our team. The position demands composure, resilience, mental toughness, and unwavering focus — qualities Mason demonstrates every single game. He thrives under pressure and embraces the responsibility of being the last line of defense. When the game is on the line, our team draws confidence from his presence in the crease.

Mason combines exceptional technical ability with elite hockey IQ. His positioning is disciplined, his rebound control is consistent, and his lateral movement is both controlled and explosive. Beyond the mechanics, what sets him apart is his poise. He never rides the emotional highs or lows of a game. After a tough goal, he resets immediately. After a highlight save, he stays locked in. His steadiness anchors the entire bench.

Statistically and competitively, Mason gives our team a chance to win every night. But more importantly, he elevates those around him. He communicates effectively with his defensemen, takes ownership in both wins and losses, and models accountability. Younger players look to him for leadership, and his work ethic in practice sets the tone for our program.
