Thomas Azzariti exemplified leadership, hard work, team spirit, and a contagious winning attitude throughout his four years playing ice hockey at St. Anthony’s High School, including three seasons on the varsity squad. During his final two years, he proudly served as an alternate captain, demonstrating steady leadership in the locker room, on the bench, and on the ice. His contributions were instrumental in the team capturing two Suffolk County High School Championships as well as the Long Island High School Championship.
Thomas led the team in scoring and delivered several clutch performances during the championship run. He scored the decisive shootout goal to secure Game One of the Suffolk County League Championship and added two goals in a 3–2 victory in the Long Island Hockey League Championship, including the game-winning goal.
