Avery is one of the best hockey players that I have coached. I have been fortunate to coach several players who have gone onto Division 1 hockey and Avery joins that list. Avery is not only a good hockey player, but a true leader for our program. Avery is one of the hardest workers that I have ever coached. I don’t take nominating kids for awards lightly. Avery is very deserving of this nomination because of the kind of person she is. She is a good hockey player, but she will be missed more for the type of person she has been for Century Hockey.
