JP is a young man who demonstrates all the qualities and characteristics that, for whatever reason, are rarely seen in a person of today’s society. He is a dedicated conscientious worker at whatever the task and understands the meaning of sacrifice, work ethic, respect, obligation and commitment. JP willingly accepted responsibility, regardless of the challenge, and didn’t stop until he was satisfied with the result of his performance to exceed expectations. His “can do – never quit” attitude combined with his genuine concern for his teammates showed his unselfishness and compassion to others, which differs from today’s more common “what’s in it for me” approach. His ambition and focus
resulted in nothing less than maximum effort and commitment. A four-year goaltender for the Xavier Knights Hockey team, JP was critical to our team’s 2024-2025 competitive season. Wishing JP Zuck all the best at West Virginia University where he will continue his academic and hockey endeavors.
