Benjamin was selected for the prestigious Hobey Baker Award due to his exceptional dedication both on and off the ice. Known for his unwavering work ethic, he consistently demonstrates commitment in every aspect of his life, especially hockey. Beyond his on-ice performance, Benjamin has contributed significantly to the community, accumulating over 100 hours of volunteer work coaching younger players in various spring programs and with the Florida Panthers’ Learn to Play program. His leadership skills have been showcased through his role as captain of his travel team for the past three years and as the Mutts Captain during his senior year. A true embodiment of a 200-foot player, Benjamin takes pride in his all-around game and strives to elevate the performance of those around him. His relentless effort, leadership, and passion for helping others make him an outstanding candidate for the Hobey Baker Award.
