Kennedy is a player who has been a leader on our team before she was a senior. It’s a rarity on our team to get votes in your junior year for Team Captain. In an example of the respect her teammates had for her, she received several votes her junior year. It was not surprising Kennedy was elected a captain in her senior year, but to have every player on the team vote for her was extraordinary. Kennedy has earned that respect by working hard and leading by example. She has always had a pulse on how the team is doing and is able to positively share that with the coaching staff. She has been an extremely valuable leader in our program and will be impossible to replace. Our hope is that our younger players are learning how to get the most out of their talent from Kennedy. She provides example every day.
