Kylie Hanley
2018 | Minnesota | GIRLS
Hopkins/St Louis Park | Royals | GIRLS
I am nominating Kylie Hanley for the 2018 Hobey Baker Character Award for Hopkins/St Louis Park Girls High School Hockey
Kylie is a complete hockey player and puts the time in to improve in all aspects of her game. She plays in all 3 zones and is a very good defensive player as well as her top offensive skills. She is the first person on the ice and last off and is always asking for ways to take her game to the next level. It is very rare to find a 3 time captain but she has been a leader in our program for a number of years. She is a person the young players look up to on and off the ice and is a very important player in our success. She is very unselfish and wants to get as many assists as goals. A lot of the time we need to tell her to shot more.

Looking at Kylies’ accomplishments on and off the ice I believe not only is she a strong candidate but a front runner for the award. There are alot of quality athletes in the school but in my opinion, she is one of the best in the community, classroom, and on and off the ice
