It is with great pleasure and without reservation that I write this letter of support for Julia Pias.

Julia is a dedicated individual and “pays attention to detailâ€_x009d_. As her ice hockey coach, I have had the opportunity to see these attributes illuminate Julia’s character on and off the ice. She is a complete team player and works always to accomplish team goals first. Julia combines an excellent work ethic, with boundless enthusiasm, superb leadership, a commitment to her work, inquisitive insight, and a passion for her position to become a “model athleteâ€_x009d_ to coach. Julia is the type of athlete that keeps coaches in the profession.

The coursework at Maple Grove Senior High is rigorous; Julia’s work ethic, passion for her goals, and ability to analyze and synthesize leads her to being successful in the classroom as well. Julia is intelligent and takes immense pride in her efforts as a student. She engages herself to the fullest. This expresses to me that Julia is able to dedicate herself to a process and progress towards her goals. She understands the commitment needed to be successful. Julia will be successful in any and all future endeavors.

Julia possesses a variety of skills and experiences which assure her success in all her future endeavors. She is a natural leader and this is apparent in all activities and situations involving her. Julia leads by her actions, words, experience, and caring nature. She has been a leader in her course work, athletics, and in the community. Julia’s involvement in leadership activities at the high school and around the community express her commitment to actively participate and give her energies to objects that touch her life. She shapes and impacts the lives of our youth by engaging in community outreach opportunities. Julia takes great pride in her responsibilities as a role model for children of all ages.

Julia’s character is of the highest order. Julia believes you do a job once, thorough, and until it is complete. She spends the extra time and puts in the extra effort.

Hallmarks of Julia’s character are high standards and values for herself, her warm personality, a great work ethic, the ability to “give backâ€_x009d_ to programs that gave to her, and her self-directed nature.
