Tommy is an outstanding student, athlete and citizen. As a senior at Loudoun Valley High School, Tommy was recently accepted to the Virginia Technical College of Natural Resources and Environment program where he will pursue his degree and be part of the future generation of leaders to address complex natural resources and issues facing our planet. He will work with fellow students and faculty to lead transformational research issues that impact citizens and communities across the state and around the world on issues of sustainability, natural resources management, and the environment.
Tommy’s leadership, mentorship and dedication to his team has recently awarded him the title of team captain. Tommy is always willing to teach and help players of all skill levels and he acts as a true leader and mentor on and off the ice for the entire team. Most recently, the team participated in a school sponsored “Safe Halloweenâ€_x009d_ event for the community. Tommy was instrumental in the success of the team’s participation and demonstrated his ability and willingness to make sure the event was a success.
Tommy is the epitome of an excellent hockey player, leader, mentor and citizen. His dedication to his family, team and to helping others is both admirable and well deserving of any award.
