Blake is a 4 year player for Franklin Academy. He is a very well rounded young man academically, socially, and athletically. Blake has been an all NAC Academic all northern for 3 years. He was chosen last year as our most improved player. He went on to his senior year not only improving but being a leader on our team. He is one of the hardest working players we have and at the same time being one of the smallest. Blake has overcome an illness that was undiagnosed until 2 years ago. He took on this illness and worked as hard as he could to overcome it. The character this young man has shown in this fight is amazing. He truly proved that no matter what the odds, strength, courage, and character can overcome almost anything.
I am very honored to recommend Blake for the Hobey Baker high school Character award.
