I had a handful of quality candidates for this year’s Hobey Baker award, All with outstanding strength of character, integrity, commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship. The qualities that it takes to be honored with this award. This year’s award is going to Jake Dobias. He is one of the few players out there that plays the game quite. He’s not flashy, he doesn’t make noise with his mouth, but he unbelievable playmaker, a great role model, sticks to the system, & gives you everything he has in the tank to get the job done. He often goes unnoticed because he’s doing the small things right to free up space or create scoring chances for his linemates. It has been an honor to coach Jake this year, and we are proud of the young man.
