Countdown to Hobey:

Noah Hemenway

2017 | Massachusetts | BOYS

Minnechaug Regional High School | Falcons | BOYS

It is my pleasure to nominate Noah Hemenway for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award for 2017. I have been Noah’s coach the past four year here at Minnechaug. I have witnessed Noah’s development as a hockey player but more importantly as a person. He has always had a strong work ethic, character, integrity, commitment to the team and represents himself with humility and dignity win or lose. Noah is very active in the community working with our team with the following programs; Ride to Remember-which is a 106 mile bicycle ride from Springfield to Boston, the Springfield Open Pantry, Holyoke Soldiers Home, WTM & the Jr.Falcons learn to skate programs. Noah and his teammates were recognized by the MIAA last year for the community service work we performed and Noah helped organize several of our events this year and last year. Noah’s leadership and commitment is second to none and is an example for the rest of our team. Noah is always respectful to his teammates, coaches, opposing players and coaches as well as the officials. He always represents himself, his family, our team and School with honor as well as class regardless of the outcome of the game.
I believe that Noah Hemenway is a worthy candidate for the 2017 Hobey Baker High School Character Award.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
