Emily is the backbone of this team. She is one the primary reasons this team has achieved the success that it has. Each day she shows up to the rink and delivers her best effort. She gives this team a fighting chance to win EVERY single night. Without her, we would not be in the position we are today.

She’s a natural-born leader that leads by example on and off the ice. I can confidently say that Emily is an individual of character and integrity. Through her words and actions, she makes everyone around her feel a part of something special, included, and a vital component to the team, regardless of their contributions, or where they reside on the depth chart. Emily exemplifies all these traits and much more, which is why I believe she is a perfect candidate for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award.
