Hannah’s character is top notch. She has, perhaps, the toughest role on our team. Hannah is not an every day Varsity player, but stuck it out for her senior season and proved to be a leader on our JV team and our Varsity team. What impressed me most about Hannah was how inspiring she was in the offseason for the younger players. She pushed them to get into the weight room with her, and would book ice time to get extra skating in. She did all this knowing that these players with more natural ability may pass her in the line-up, but would make our team better. She is the perfect example of a team-first player and a great representation of what the Hobey Baker Character award is about.
