Justin Thompson is not just a Captain on our team, he also is a leader on and off the ice. Justin displays tremendous character each and every day. While Justin’s on ice play is exceptional and provides our team with a leadership role, it’s his off ice that really sets him apart from many others.

During the course of a game, Justin is constantly talking to his teammates giving an uplifting message and setting a standard of play on the ice for his teammates to follow. During the game Justin asks and listens to his coach willing to correct his game or fine tune his performance. After the game Justin is congratulating or consoling his teammates and is first in line to shake hands and have a positive message to the opposition.

Justin constantly represents our Tartan team in the community, either by helping out at Eagle Point Elementary school or working with our youth (TAYHA) at their “Learn to Skate Programâ€_x009d_ and even during the summer months helping out at our clinics for the Tartan Community. He is consistently stopping by the youth hockey games to say hi, shake hands and is never shy to take a couple selfies.
