Noah has been a 4-year starter at defenseman for the Chantilly ice hockey club and a leader both on and off the ice for all four seasons. On the ice, he uses his big frame to shield off defenders from the net, has great on-ice awareness and can use this to his advantage as he’s been known to rumble up the ice from time to time, crashing the net and causing havoc in the crease of opposing goaltenders. Noah always displays a calm, confident temperament on the ice and in big games, no matter what the deficit, this sets the tone for the rest of the team. We’ve had several tight games and late comebacks this season and Noah’s let’s just keep plugging away attitude has certainly attributed to our ability to never be out of any game.
Off the ice and during the off-season, Noah is a gym rat whose attendance to dry-land training workouts has been stellar. His work ethic on the ice is no different off the ice, and he is always encouraging others to push themselves as well. It’s no surprise that Noah was voted by his teammates as captain this season, and he has fulfilled the role expertly, both in action and in words.
