Aaron is the most selfless player that I have had the privilege of coaching. He is the epitome of team captain, always striving to better himself, his teammates and the program. What separates Aaron from other young men that I have coached is his ability to stay positive and driven in the face of adversity. In tough times he takes it upon himself to lead by example and to verbally challenge his teammates in a motivating way. Aaron’s commitment to excellence is not exclusionary to the rink. His dedication applies also to academics and citizenship. He is an active role model within the Baraboo community, and I appreciate that he has set the bar high for his teammates.
