Parker is an exceptional person in more ways than one. He is a four year Varsity hockey player for the Lakers, while being #4 in his class of 293 with a 4.21 GPA. Parker is striving to be an orthopedic surgeon after graduation at the University of Minnesota. In the community he is involved with Trinity Episcopal youth group, Boy Scouts, donates to Codington County Cares, coached peewee baseball, Big Brother Youth Hockey Program, and Suicide Awareness Walk. He is also a multi-sport athlete participating in football and softball. He has volunteered many hours for People Against Child Hunger, Unity in Diversity Event, Boys and Girls Club, and Relay for Life. He is a very dedicated and goes above and beyond, willing to do whatever it takes in every situation. He shows compassion in everything he does, from helping someone who needs help with the smallest to largest problem, in the classroom, community, or on the ice. Parker looks for the good in all situations and is quick to be the problem solver. It has been my pleasure to be a part of Parker’s high school hockey career and look forward to seeing him excel at everything he does in the future!
