Green Wave Hockey | Green Wave | BOYS

Sammy Knight is what Green Wave Hockey is all about which aligns right with the Hobey Baker Character Award. Sammy was an Assistant Captain this season for the Green Wave. He was given the challenge to bring the student-athlete teams together as we be family. This hockey program is a co-op program with multiple schools from multiples different towns. Sammy was able to make sure every student-athlete felt as part of the Green Wave family as any one else. Not just on the ice, with his determination and hard work. Sammy also bridged that gap for all his team mates outside of the rink and school. His integrity is such a large part of his personality along with accountability. Being able to help his team mates understand, execute, and most importantly try hard was a huge reason for his teams success this year. I proud to have coached Sammy this season and even more proud of the amazing young man he is growing into.
