Alonso symbolizes the hard work and dedication, both mentally and physically that it takes to be a successful and coachable hockey player. Alonso is a fierce competitor who commits everything he has to his team and simply makes players around him better through his effort, attitude and his obvious talent. His ability to play all positions in any situation with one hundred percent effort is a huge asset to any team he plays for. He was a unanimous selection to this years FPSHL All-Star Game. He is a leader in the locker room and outside of the rink. I often cite Alonso’s leadership and efforts as teaching moments for the younger players as someone to emulate. Alonso is an excellent young man who will excel at anything to which he puts his mind and will without any doubt achieve great things.
