Connor Terry is a four year veteran of the New York State Public High School Division 1 Massena Red Raiders Hockey Team.
Throughout his career, he has continually exemplified what it means to be a good teammate, has put in the work necessary regardless of the adversity he faced and in a lot of instances sacrificed himself in the best interests of the Team. After having an extremely limited Junior year due to the global pandemic, Connor stayed positive and did the things that were necessary to keep his teammates focused in preparation for the 2021-2022 season. The impact of this commitment to Team was shown best when he was selected to be Team Captain by his peers in an overwhelming majority vote – and he didn’t disappoint. Throughout the season he led by example both on and off the ice, constantly communicating with Coaches and Players, ensuring everyone maintained academic eligibility and doing the little things that are necessary to forge a strong family bond for his Team. He is truly a person of high character who possesses a strong work ethic and maintains a high level of commitment to the Massena High School hockey program and to his teammates. It has been a pleasure to watch him grow and mature into both the person and the athlete that he is today, someone that any coach would want to have on his or her team, someone who exemplifies the positive aspects of competitive athletics and someone that sets a great example for future generations of players to aspire toward being like.
